Spinwell is recruiting for an Information Access Officer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INFORMATION ACCESS OFFICER
- Providing advice and support to client on information rights issues
- Liaising effectively within the team and, proactively, with the rest of the organisation to ensure that the service provided is consistent, identifies and addresses the needs of the customer, and minimises risk.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE INFORMATION ACCESS OFFICER
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage confidently and persuasively at different levels, reaching agreed conclusions which balance compliance, risk and organisational aims.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to review large amounts of detailed information in order to reach a reasoned and logical conclusion, and identify potential risks of challenge. Also the ability to use, understand and present data to illustrate ideas.
- Ability to prioritise, plan and deliver on key work activities, usually within an agreed framework, and work on a series of unrelated problems simultaneously.
- Ability to use initiative and make decisions and to work effectively as a member of a team.
