    Role Description
    We are currently seeking Fire Door Inspectors throughout the UK, who will travel regionally to various sites to inspect fire doors. This is a full-time field-based role.
    Following the current standards, the Inspector will also need to establish professional relationships with our clients.
    Applications are invited from experienced Fire Door Inspectors in the Fire Protection and Service industry.

    This role involves, but is not limited to, the following:
    • Traveling regionally to a variety of sites
    • Conducting fire door inspections at each site efficiently and cost-effectively
    • Using a dedicated app on a PDA (tablet) to follow a checklist for each fire door inspection
    • Developing professional relationships with clients
    • Keeping detailed documentation of completed works
    • Ensuring compliance with the inspection process
    • Maintaining the company vehicle in a presentable condition
    • Operating various tools safely
    • Adhering to safety protocols on-site
    • Maintaining tools and machinery in good condition
    • Meeting all specifications
    Required Skills
    • Good practical, manual dexterity, and coordination skills
    • Effective communication abilities
    • Physical strength and endurance
    • Experience in carrying out Fire Door Inspections is essential
    • Recognized Fire Door Inspection qualifications (FDIS, BRE, etc.) are mandatory
    • High attention to detail
    • Valid full UK driving license
    • Ability to work independently
    • Strong work ethic
    • Proficiency in using computers
    • Excellent time management
    • Capacity to handle a high workload
    • Willingness to work away from home
    • Readiness to go the extra mile
    • Self-motivation and teamwork
    • Demonstration of professionalism, positivity, and proactiveness
    • BPSS security clearance will be a mandatory requirement
