    Description

    We are looking for a Sales Commission Analyst to join our Sales Commissions team in London, UK, who can support in leading best-in-class sales compensation processes and activities to enable sales compensation to be a driver to support business objectives. Meets operational performance objectives, identifies, and executes on ideas that allow for continuous improvement in existing processes. Works collaboratively with internal teams and Clarivate's unified Sales Operations team and with key external stakeholders from sales to ensure departmental objectives are met.

    We work in a very collaborative environment, with flexibility on individual choice for place of work and time, our focus is more to get the deliverable as per prescribed timelines.

    Requirements

  • Bachelors/University level degree in related business or operations field required
  • MBA or equivalent Master degree preferred
  • Experience:

  • 5+ years' work experience in sales incentive compensation or related discipline
  • 5+years professional experience collaborating closely with sales teams.
  • Skills:

  • Proven to work independently and in matrix environment
  • Logical Thinker, excellent analytical skills and attention to detail; Ability to think strategically and creatively; Good overall business knowledge.
  • Good knowledge of compliance and basic legal knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills; excellent negotiation skills coupled with exceptional written/verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in driving cross-functional initiatives
  • Must be adept in use of MS Office, particularly advanced skills in Excel; skills in MS Access (or similar database application), , PowerPoint, and VBA would be advantageous, internet and email; order processing systems, and knowledge.
  • Experience managing an on-line/ cloud-based compensation tool is beneficial.
  • What will you be doing in this role?

    Support Business Objectives

  • Play an active role in supporting business objectives like the internal sales referral program between sales teams. Ensure validation of referrals and communications are sent in a timely manner.
  • Support the readiness and development of SAP Callidus system to meet the commission requirements on a day-to-day basis.
  • Commission Processing & Payment

  • Documentation of the end-to-end commission process for the aligned Segment.
  • Assist in ensuring enough audit trails, reconciliations and validation processes are in place to minimize errors. Includes maintenance and storage of period calculations/templates
  • System Support & Maintenance– Assist in managing tools, forms, and systems required to handle compensation calculation.
  • Ad-Hoc Performance/Sales Management Reporting: Provide analytical and ad-hoc support to sales management for advanced/periodic needs.
  • Sales Compensation Plan Design & Execution

  • Active participant working collaboratively with the Sales Commissions team on transforming Segment revenue/sales plan target into sales plan goals by territory and individual.
  • Provide consultation on milestone requirements to ensure timely and quality execution of overall Clarivate compensation calendar.
  • Provide analytical support to determine key performance measures and plan design.
  • Support sales management and Finance via financial modelling and scenario analysis to support the advocacy of incentive plan roll-out and communications.
  • Special Incentive Plan ("SPIFF") Design & Execution

  • Understand business requirements and provide support to Segment Operations and Commissions team for modelling and partnering with Finance for special incentives SPIFFs or plan modifications during the year.
  • Assist in SPIFF calculations.
  • Policy, Process & Quality Management

  • Ensure adherence to company risk policy and enforce internal controls within all processing in conjunction with local statutory and labour requirements.
  • Participate actively in change management efforts to implement Clarivate better practices, new processes process and improvements in systems and tools.
  • Hours of Work:

    Full-time, permanent role, hybrid basis in the London office 2-3 days per week.
