Senior Developer

As a Barclays Senior Developer, you will be accountable for the development of major new and existing systems for the Private Bank Credit business.

Furthermore, you will be mentoring junior members of the team, imparting knowledge, skills and experience to enable the future growth of the team.

Providing estimates for engineering work in the production of Advice and Guidance (A&G) documents and project Plan and Estimates (P&Es)

• Comprehending technical constraints of live application / product, support business clients in learning any 'requirement versus cost' trade-offs
• Reviewing test strategies to guarantee the quality of the delivered software assist in the diagnosis of system problems encountered during testing

Knowledge of OO Designing and Programming Techniques and associated concepts, Data Modeling, Design Patterns

• In-depth knowledge and extensive experience of Springboot, Spring, Javascript, JDBC and relational SQL (preferably SQL Server)
• In-depth knowledge and extensive experience of Core Java, J2EE design and development work on large-scale banking applications along with Cloud expertise.
• Competence of developing APIs using REST and UI development using Angular/React JS
