    Description

    The opportunity
    University of the Arts London has an exciting opportunity to join London College of Fashion's bustling Media Lab as a Support Technician.

    You will contribute to the delivery of technical services within the Media Lab at London College of Fashion and support with the day-to-day operation of the teaching and learning facilities. You will work as part of a technical team responsible for delivery and maintenance of specialist digital printing, mounting, binding and traditional darkroom processes, providing guidance and advice to students and staff working within the Lab area.

    You will be required to demonstrate technical techniques to students in one-to-one or small group settings. You will provide assistance and advice to all users with the delivery of technical services to support academic activities and meet course outcomes.

    About you
    Applicants should have practical experience of media print processes, and a strong knowledge of associated digital and analogue equipment. Experience of demonstrating the use of equipment and technical processes, as well as knowledge and understanding of all relevant Health and Safety legislation and their effective operational implementation is essential.

    You will be able to troubleshoot technical issues and carry out routines which require mastery of a range of skills or physical techniques and considerable concentration.
