If you want to be part of the next chapter of our journey playing a key role at our Hangar in Birmingham then we'd love to hear from you.This is a hugely exciting time to join us, so if you want to join a growing, dynamic organisation, where you have opportunity to make a real difference, we want to hear from you.The Document Controller will report directly to the Planning Manager and is responsible for performing a variety of analytical, clerical, and decision-making functions that are necessary to assure the smooth running of maintenance inputs and day-to-day operations of the business. There may also be a requirement for domestic travel to fulfil key business objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collecting and Quality Checking of completed job cards within Base Maintenance
- Quality Checking of completed Line Maintenance job cards
- Closing of completed job cards within Base Maintenance Work Packages (paper and electronically)
- Scanning of Job Cards from both Base and Line Maintenance back to customer and into STS Job Files
- Monitors complete and incomplete job cards within Work Packages for reporting / Quality Checking purposes
- Performs general clerical duties, to include setting up files and entering and collecting computerized data
Skills & Experience:
- A good knowledge of Aircraft Base and Line Maintenance preferred but not essential.
- Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel and Word
- Well organised and disciplined
- Calm and professional under pressure
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Effective communicator both verbal and written
- Supports others to achieve individual and company objectives
- Promotes company values
- Flexible in approach – shift work may be required
