New Beginnings Childcare is an Ofsted rated GOOD full-day care nursery located in Moorside in Consett.

We are a full-day nursery open from 7:45am until 6:00 pm. We are registered for 32 children across our two rooms (babies, toddlers, and preschool).

All our rooms are very well resourced. We also have a large outdoor area which we make very good use of. In addition to our own outdoor area, we make good use of the beautiful areas surrounding the nursery.

New Beginnings Childcare is a successful, well-established nursery.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual who has a strong passion for developing children's learning in the Early Years and creating an environment of outstanding childcare.

We are looking for a Senior nursery practitioner to work at our Nursery. You will have a full and relevant Level 3 qualification with good English and IT skills. We require at least 2 years experience/ employment within childcare / education.

You must also have knowledge of Child Development and the EYFS and a commitment to putting safeguarding at the forefront of all practice.

Your job role:

• To support the Manager and Deputy in every aspect of the setting's operation.
• To accept responsibility for the daytoday management of your team, playing an active part in the nursery management team.
• To supervise, lead and motivate a team of staff, delegating responsibilities in your absence.
• To be responsible for planning & providing interesting learning opportunities following the EYFS.
• To have high expectations of the team, ensuring high standards of childcare are maintained at all times.
