    To manage the delivery of workplace projects within the constraints of agreed budget, programme and quality criteria, ensuring successful outcomes are achieved.

    To be responsible for the day-to-day delivery and provide leadership of relocation project teams to ensure that our service delivery meet customer expectations.

    Role Purpose:

    • To work as a delivery lead on large sized workplace relocation projects, reporting into the Programme Director.
    • Will act as contract administrator and project manager on a workplace relocation projects with a wide group of stakeholders in corporate environments.
    • Monitor progress of work, identify and coordinate collation of risks and present in reports. Provide flash report on progress on a weekly basis.
    • Work with digital project management toolkits (support and onboarding is provided) as well as engagement with GEC PM support where applicable.
    • Prepare mobilisation plans for projects including project execution plan and process definition.
    • Establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand and influence their activities and promote and enhance the client goals and reputation.
    • Provide effective leadership to health & safety matters by actively promoting health & safety awareness and ensuring the provision of safe working practices.
    • Experience will be required/desirable in the following areas: scheduling, (MS Project or Asta), managing licence to alterations, pre-contract design team management and report writing.
    The PM will require sufficient understanding to be able to:
    prepare accurate project briefs, review contractor responses (designs, cost, methodology, programme), prepare contract award documentation and recommendation reports.


    • Managing and coordinating Stage 0 Transaction, Occupancy Planning and Workspace deliverables, i.e. Strategic Brief, Workspace Brief, Heads of Terms, Scope Development Sprints, Design Sprints.
    • Landlord co-ordination from Stage 0 to 7.
    • Coordination of Stage 6 delivery activities by Protective Security, CTO, FM, H & S, Landlord sign off and MAC. (Last Mile Checks)
    • Coordination of Building Operational Procedures (Landlord Internal FM, FM and H&S) to support transition of project delivery to operations phase.
    • Coordination of BCIM and HR updates as part of handover process to business.
    • Leading fortnightly project anchor days with project team.
    • Wayleaves - managing IT, BT and Open Reach.
    Requirements


    • Degree qualified in a construction or engineering discipline
    • APM or equivalent
    • RICS/CIOB/MAPM desirable but not a requirement
