The Change Support Role is responsible for representing the Engineering Services team with the customer to ensure the requirement is met.

In addition it is important to be able to engage with other functions in BDUK to coordinate facilities that may be needed to satisfy the customer requirements, this will require strong analytical and negotiating skills to ensure all aspects are completed.

Due to the range of technologies supported within the team it is important that the successful applicant can show versatility in delivering change against a variety of platforms or can demonstrate their ability to utilize other peoples capabilities

This role will report to the Engineering Services Manager:

Planning and delivering customer and internal changes as required
Provide support solutions for the changes delivered
Take where appropriate the technical lead
Represent BDUK during customer engagement

Essential Skills and knowledge:

Proficient use of Oracle P/SQL

Desirable:

Support to SAP based systems in a Linux environment

Other information:
SC eligibility is required

Hybrid Work Option (Virtual/Office): Yes, with some travel to Bristol site as required plus potential customer site visits
