    Sand is a finite resource, and it's running out. Today, population growth and the pace of progress means the world is devouring sand like never before – 50 billion tonnes a year globally. This demand is unsustainable. Together with our customers we have already diverted over 100 million tonnes of waste material from landfill and put it back into the materials market for use in construction; protecting sand & aggregates in areas where natural material reserves are in decline and enabling production to happen closer to markets. We are minimising environmental impact and laying the foundations for the circular economy.

    About The Role

    Job Purpose:

    To meet project deadlines and ensure that the quality of the installations are completed to a high standard.

    Responsibilities:

    · Ensuring projects are electrically progressed as per Production schedules.

    · Ability to prioritise and manage allocated work.

    · Ensure all works are carried out to the highest of standards including tidy wiring and swarf removal, instill a culture of high quality workmanship.

    · Complete test inspection process on the pre-wiring cabling and ensure control panels are fully tested prior to despatch.

    · Ensure all works are carried out in a safe manner and with full H & S compliance.

    · Apply the minimum quality and environmental standards required under ISO 9001 and 14001 and the company Quality and Environmental standards.

    This job description is not exhaustive as other duties may be required to fulfil the requirements of the role.

    Desired Criteria

    • Testing and fault finding within control panels.
    • Experience of PLC programming
    • Good manufacturing processes awareness
    • Full clean driving license

    Required Criteria

    • GCSE English and Math's grade C or higher
    • Fully trained Electrician
    • Minimum 3 years' experience post apprenticeship experience in a similar environment
    • Experience of 3 phase supply and working with live panels
    • Experience of working with SWA cables
