Security Installation Engineer
IT - Maidenhead, Berkshire

Fairlea Online Limited are looking for an
experienced Security Installation Engineer to join our busy team, to ensure the best possible experience for all our clients.
The role of Security Installation Engineer will involve, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Installing security systems to a high level (NSI standard)
  • Liaise with customers in a polite and professional manner
  • Keep accurate notes and details of installations.
  • Participate in the callout rota as required
  • Support the management in delivering consistently highquality installations
  • Represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Undertake additional duties, or assist other members of staff, as may be reasonably requested by the Manager or Directors.
The knowledge, skills and experience required from our
Security Installation Engineer are:

  • Extensive experience in the industry, working to NSI standards (essential).
  • Knowledge of Scantronic Control panels and Texecom Control panels (essential).
  • Knowledge of Dahua CCTV and Hik-Vision CCTV (essential).
  • Knowledge of Paxton Access Control (essential).
  • Experience of leading an install team (essential).
  • Hold a full UK driving licence (essential).
  • A good knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written (essential).
  • The ability to prioritise and organise own workload to tight deadlines (essential).
  • Strong communication skills; including the ability to communicate effectively with clients (essential).
  • Be a team player, with the ability to work as a member of a team as well as alongside members of staff within other teams, as required (essential).
  • Ability to following instructions, whilst working alone (essential).
  • Ability to work at heights (essential).
  • Btec, or equivalent, in security systems and / or IPAF (desirable).
  • Experience of IP based systems (desirable).
  • Knowledge of the local area (desirable).
