    Eviosys Aerosols Packaging UK currently has an opportunity for two suitably experienced individuals to become Shift Managers and join our manufacturing teams based at our largest Aerosol plant in Nottinghamshire (UK).

    The Purpose of the Shift Managers is to support the Production Manager and Team Coordinators in the smooth running of the Production areas. This is done through management of the staff on the allocated shift, dealing with a wide range of issues such as Employee Relations, Operational issues, Training and development and Manning. The Shift Leader monitors all operational aspects of the machines and staff. They actively lead and participate in plant safety, housekeeping, 5S, and lean manufacturing processors by ensuring departmental objectives and business KPIs are met.

    Principle Accountabilities.

    • To ensure safe working procedures are in operation based on appropriate risk assessment.

    • Leading and developing the team to achieve departmental efficiencies, budgets and KPI's in a proactive approach.

    • Continuous improvement and development of the production processes

    • To assist with the managing of the overall operation of the department achieving agreed hourly production & quality targets are met/exceeded consistently and taking decisive action to correct shortfalls.

    • To ensure continuous development of all Shift Team Coordinators to allow for ongoing succession planning at all levels.

    • To liaise closely with Planning & Maintenance to actively effect changes to production plans and PM schedules as the need arises and to respond to demand fluctuation.

    • Communicating with other functions/colleagues e.g. Technical function, to facilitate solutions to problems identified, and generate innovative ideas to production improvements.

    • To act as deputy for the Production Manager.

    Suitable Candidates should have:


    • Previous experience of managing and leading a large team

    • Excellent Communication skills

    • High level of determination and drive for continuously improving safety & quality standards along with service levels and production processes

    • FMCG Manufacturing experience

    • Lean Manufacturing process knowledge
