An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and enthusiastic Reward Manager to join our HR Reward function in London.

This opportunity will give you the chance to work with the Reward Governance team supporting our global operating groups alongside colleaguesin London and Sydney.

You will primarily be responsible for ad-hoc regulatory and non-regulatory reward projects whilst assisting the EMEA Reward Governance team, as appropriate.

The team are responsible for the delivery of reward governance within the EMEARegion across regulated entities covered by CRD5, IFD, IFPR, AIFMD and UCITS V.

Reporting to the EMEA Head of Reward Governance, you will work in a small team with a remit including:


  • Review and refresh the remuneration governance delegation framework between Macquarie Group and local EMEA Board and Remuneration Committees.
  • Examine the EMEA Role Based Allowance (RBA) policy and process.
  • Help to enhance, grow and implement an ESG remuneration agenda across multiple EMEA regulated entities.
  • Assist with the development of an online Material Risk Taker (MRT) training / learning portal.
  • Ad hoc support of the Material Risk Taker (MRT) identification process including input in preparation of committee papers.
  • Support with the preparation and delivery of the annual regulatory disclosures (Pillar 3, RPS Questionnaire, High Earners Report and AIFM remuneration disclosure)
  • Liaison with internal stakeholders (wider HR team, Risk Management and business leads) on reward governance related matters and regulatory requirements


You will have a good understanding/knowledge of the EU regulatory landscape with previous experience working in a hands-on EU/UK remuneration regulation role within Financial Services.

An understanding of Carried Interest plans would be beneficial althoughnot essential.
You will have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, strong analytical skills and be highly numerate with great attention to detail.

You will be resourceful, show initiative and be pro-active with the ability to work as part of a collaborative global team and independently,whilst managing competing priorities with a high degree of organisation and self-direction.

Strong communication skills are crucial, alongside excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task. You will have demonstrable problem-solving skills,along with a creative and solutions focused approach.

In addition, you will also have the confidence to think differently and be open to learning in a fast paced and changing environment.
