Digital Communications Manager

Well established, growing Non-Profitable Organisation

Salary c£37,000 per annum + Great benefits including 30 days holiday plus bank holidays

  • My client is a leading national nonprofitable organisation, they currently have an exciting opportunity to join them in the role of Digital Communications Manager, the charity is going from strength to strength, so this is an exciting time to join themin this key role. _

Reporting to the Head of Communications, this is a Head Office based role with a requirement of working 2 days per week in the London office and the remaining days working from home.

The Digital Communications Manager will support a variety of key activitiesfor the organisation with a primary focus on social media channel management, web management and digital marketing.


Key responsibilities:


  • Engage with internal stakeholders to identify how web and digital platforms can be utilised to help meet departmental and organisation objectives and deliverables.
  • Plan, implement, manage and monitor the charities web and social media output, providing support to Income Generation teams and awareness raising campaigns.
  • Support the development and implementation of a coherent and consistent approach to digital and social media across the charity.
  • Work with the Head of Communications and other relevant staff members to develop and implement a digital strategy.
  • Develop and manage the creation of unique multimedia content to be used across campaign work and daytoday social media and web output including the production and utilisation of video editing skills, graphic design and other digital assets.
  • Work with Brand and Design Managers to ensure the charities digital communications reflect the national brand identity and meet design standards.

Experience and skills Required:


  • Knowledge and experience of digital marketing, SEO, user journeys and marketing attribution, as well as writing engaging copy for diverse audiences.
  • Experienced in measuring, assessing and evaluating the impact of social media and other campaigns.
  • A good general knowledge of the UK media environment.
  • Experience of developing a wide range of targeted communication materials, including utilising case studies.
  • Strong influencing skills; ability to influence at all levels.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and clearly, both orally and in writing, to a wide range of audiences.
