Project Engineer - Bradford, United Kingdom - Human Engineering

Description

Our client is looking for an experienced hydraulics project engineer to join an international engineering team, working within their Bradford-based headquarters.

Degree qualified , preferably hydraulic/mechanical engineering or equivalent
Provide project management support.
# Responsible for overseeing tenders, offers, design, and engineering.
# Provide engineering/technical support for offshore crane, troubleshooting, repairs, refurbishment, upgrades, operation, and maintenance.
# Provide engineering support for Hydraulic (and mechanical) equipment including spare parts sourcing, upgrades, refurbishment plans, and equipment hire activities.
# Engineering design related to offshore crane and hydraulic interface projects.
# Project management activities including all technical and commercial aspects of projects.
# Undertake offshore and onshore surveys and project workscopes.
# Familiarization with client's and companies HSEQ policies and procedures.
# Familiarization with client's and company Safety policy and the Safety Management System.
# Plan, organize, and document client work processes to deliver the required standard with minimum risk to personnel, plant, materials, and the environment.
# Give company personnel and subcontractors precise instruction in order to implement safe methods of work and pre-defined communication lines between client and company.

Good understanding of HSEQ requirements offshore
Sound IT skills, MS project, excel, word etc
This is an office-based role in Bradford with days per year of international travel possible.
