Public Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an Accounts Semi Senior opportunity on behalf of a highly reputable firm of Chartered Accountants in Birmingham.

This will be a varied role involving the preparation of year end statutory accounts for clients from an array of sectors, management accounts, tax compliance, VAT returns, (review of) bookkeeping, and dealing with HMRC/ client queries.

Part time will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Corporation tax computations
Preparation of management accounts
Preparation of VAT returns & bookkeeping
Liaising with HMRC
Training clients on accountancy software
Dealing with client queries

Requirements:

AAT Qualified/ ACA or ACCA Student/ Part Qualified
QBE also considered
Minimum of 2 years practice experience is essential
Good working knowledge of double entry bookkeeping
