Our client is looking for an experienced Head of Health and Care to create and deliver the Health and Care strategy for the business capitalising on membership growth, whilst developing a unified offering that supports the social responsibility our clienthas through the Royal Charter.


This role will support the growth in membership through the health sector by pulling together the health influences across the business to deliver the Health and Care strategy, focussing on delivering a health programme to support organisations and individualsin the sector.


This role will require someone who is willing to be an ambassador of our clients health, internally and externally, becoming the focal point for all health-related activities and initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Create, own and deliver the Health and Care strategy
  • Deliver against KPI's including revenue / headcount targets
  • Build working relationships across the Health community and existing channels, increasing the company profile and informing our strategy
  • Drive increasing memberships
  • Enable delivery of Standards
  • Work with appropriate NHS Networks to increase NHS apprenticeship numbers
  • Use knowledge and stakeholder relationships to inform and influence the direction and ensure it remains fit for purpose for the business's members;
  • Work with relevant bodies to improve career development tools and support
  • Support, coach, mentor and manage the Key Account Manager to ensure an effective and successful account management;
  • Flexibility is required
  • Continually looking at ways to make improvements to systems, processes and procedures

Experience Required

  • Demonstrable experience of establishing contact and developing high value relationships at director and or Clevel;
  • Experience of working with Health sector
  • Demonstrable experience of consultative sales approach focused on businesstobusiness engagements offering a range of products, services and solutions
  • Experience of strategic programme management
  • Proven experience of managing small teams
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience
  • Excellent presentation skills & Business Proposals
  • Effective at identifying prospective stakeholders' requirements
  • Ability to quickly build trust and rapport with customers
  • Able to organise, plan and prioritise own workload
  • Networking, Influencing, negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Enthusiastic, selfmotivated, determined and target driven
