Amazing opportunity in a hugely successful, fast-growing SME - International Logistics sector experience required
We have a rare opportunity for an individual with all-round accounts experience, gained within an international distribution business.
The successful individual will be joining the company at a time when you can become a key part of the business and its future plans moving forward.
You will report to the MD and FD and will be in a position to establish effective processes with a good level of autonomy.
Duties will include
- Purchase ledger
- Sales ledger
- Credit control
- Creating payments
- Invoice jobs via inhouse system
- Send statements to customers
- Update Xero
- Liaise with qualified accountant to ensure supplier invoices are uploaded to Xero
- Run reports from our inhouse system to identify any uninvoiced jobs / discrepancies
- Liaising with Ops department to ensure same day payments are made when required
- Uploading supplier invoices
- Flag potential risks / cashflow issues
- Banks reconciliations
- Basic understanding of FX and exchange rates
- Handle supplier queries
- Create remittances to send to suppliers
This is advertised as a full time role but, for someone with the right level of experience, there is the possibility to join on a fewer hours if desiredinitially, bearing in mind that this role will become busier over time as the business continues to grow.
Initially based in the modern offices with gym in Altrincham, there is the opportunity yo work from home for past of the week once up to speed.
