    Contract Type:
    Locum ongoing contract

    Pay Rate:
    £25 per hour (assignment rate)
    Fully online and paperless registration service
    ~ Free DBS and compliance service including paid for mandatory e-learning and practical training modules (if applicable)
    ~ NHSBT, The Home Office and Vaccination Centres (private and public) are just some of the projects we've recently recruited to.
    ~£250 refer a friend bonus once referral has worked 100 hours (uncapped – T&Cs apply)
    ~ Find your own job bonus - Receive £250 for bringing your own position to us
    ~ Clinical governance and revalidation support from an in-house qualified health professional with over 15 years experience
    ~ Your own dedicated consultant with extensive experience within the healthcare sector
    ~ Daily payroll and in-house payroll system

    The Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner will work as a member of the Perinatal Mental Health Service.

    Manage a defined caseload of service users experiencing moderate to severe perinatal mental health problems, and those with pre-existing severe mental health diagnoses to reduce perinatal risk and maintain stability in this vulnerable period for women's mental health.

    They will undertake holistic community assessments with a strong emphasis on the parent-infant relationship and safeguarding.
    Offer a variety of therapeutic interventions including supportive therapy, psychosocial interventions, specialist medication advice and problem solving techniques.

    Required to provide consultative advice to other agencies, and to participate in delivering training and development for other professionals.

    Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy

    NHS experience is very desirable for many of our jobs.
