    THE ROLE:
    PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT OFFICE SPECIALISTThe central Transformation Team stands at the forefront of our journey towards a better airline by driving change through different parts of the organisation, incorporating Transformation best practices into delivery and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of its overarching impact

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:


    Support the Director of Transformation by enabling visibility of the overall portfolio - including all respective initiatives and associated critical metrics via the Transformation toolFollow the strategy and direction for Transformation Office data and analytics from extracting appropriate data, designing dashboards, sharing business insights and automating solutionsBecome a Transformation data expert by developing deep knowledge and ensures data used for reports, analytics and insights is appropriate and has integrityInvestigate problems and identify solutions in collaboration with team members but challenging as required using a structured iterative approach e.g.

    requirements workshopsSupport and continuously improve Transformation Office procedures and processes, building on industry standard methodology, including prioritisation, planning, risk and dependency managment and assurance.

    Develop, update and maintain the Transformation tool and data qualityAssists Transformation tool users on process, procedures and services and provide day-to-day support for the toolClearly communicates key insightsIdentifies wider impacts of any decisions and fit with the business planChallenges and influences decision makers in the business areaManages own portfolio of work using good project and time management practices without the need for supportHelp to supply maturity and effectiveness of the Transformation Centre of Excellence and development of the teamWHAT YOU'

    Good effective communication, influencing at a team level (written and verbal) and successfully handle expectationsDemonstrable experience of successful delivery of transformation/portfolio management office activitiesAbility to effectively influence individuals & teams (direct/indirect), working together to deliver resultsManage and maintain relationships with collaborators at all levelsWorks well independently and as part of a teamCapable of meeting high quality standardsEffective at prioritising work and staying focused on what is importantAbility to adapt to dynamically evolving fast paced environment and use your own initiative to problem solveStrong attention to detailAbility to implement plans to overcome obstacles and achieve goals.

    Able to structure well-defined business problems into a clear and concise set of issues, identifies key partners and scopes the appropriate level of analysis required to deliver insightKnowledge of a range of analytical tools and techniques and able to apply modelling techniques to complex problemsProficient in use of Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel Skills


    YOUR EXPERIENCE:
    Experience of applying analyticsEducated to degree level or equivalent experience is advantageous but not essentialProfessional Project Management/Portfolio Management Office qualification/accreditation is desirable
