    Operations Admin Assistant Procurement x 1

    1 x Full time 35 hours per week

    Are you a highly motivated individual working in a busy office administration environment? Do you have experience working in procurement, catering operations, finance or a compliance driven admin role? Then this may be a great opportunity to join the catering operations team at this significant campus.

    The role is to assist and support the Back of House Catering Procurement Office, and the candidate should be confident in:

    • Maintain a good flow of daily operations ( including placing orders, confirming deliveries, communicate with suppliers and other Imperial staff) .
    • Provide support in the maintenance of data in a systematic format, both manual and computerised.
    • To support with logistic orders and support the senior members of the team as required.
    • Knowledge of purchasing/ordering systems will be an advantage (Procure Wizard in use).
    • Previous office administration experience in a similar role .
    • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, in order to present and deliver information in an appropriate manner.
    • Be highly organised with an eye for detail and accuracy and an ability to cope with deadlines.
    • Strong on initiative, making well balanced decisions when necessary.
    • Be self-motivated and an effective team player
    • Ability to understand and communicate financial data.
    • Excellent numerical skills.
    • Identify and resolve all delivery issues with suppliers and identify any pricing anomalies
    • Generate reports and retrieve data from the in-house stock control system as required
    • Generate stock count sheets as and when required
    • Input stock takes as and when required
