    Electrical Design Engineer


    Location:
    Nationwide (Remote working)


    Salary:
    Up to £60,000 + bonus + car allowance

    The Role

    We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with a strong background in both HV and LV.

    In this role you will be responsible for the design and implementation of electrical systems for various commercial and fleet EV charging station projects across the UK.

    The role will require


    • Create electrical drawings, schematics and other technical document
    • Design, develop, and document electrical systems for a variety of projects, particularly within the utilities, electrical services DNO, and construction sectors, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
    • Perform electrical calculations and analyses to determine system requirements and specifications
    • Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure the successful completion of projects
    • Select and specify electrical equipment and components, considering factors such as cost, performance, and reliability
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest electrical codes and technologies
    Desired Skills & Qualifications


    • Relevant Electrical Degree
    • Experience in electrical design in utilities, electrical service DNO or construction projects
    • Strong knowledge of power systems, control systems and electronics
    • Strong use with AutoCAD and EPLAN
    • Full UK driving licence
