Shift Patterns:
Monday to Friday to 5pm (1 Hour Lunch)
Is business administration repetitive or boring?
It's neither, this couldn't be further from the truth, the NHS must be well organised and keep detailed records of patients and staff across several wards.
You'll support the ability for patients or other organisations to see or speak to the right person at the right time who can give them the help they need.
So overall administration isn't boring, it's varied.
You'll find solutions to everyday problems, such as:
- The post holder will be the first point of contact for patients, GP and Dental staff, resolving or transferring on queries for the Outpatients department.
- Dealing with appointment and referral queries and helping the wider Outpatient Appointments team with scheduling tasks, including booking and rescheduling of appointments.
- Use of the
Patient Administration System:
Meditech and the national e-Referrals electronic booking system - full training is provided on both systems.
What you'll need:
- Excellent communication skills
- Microsoft office skills
- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Previous contact centre experience
- Previous NHS experience desirable
