In addition to offering rural advice and professional services, the company efficiently manages commercial and residential property portfolios, conducts residential sales and lettings, provides valuation services, engages in general practice work, manages planning and architecture, oversees development, conducts strategic land promotion, manages client accounting, handles block management, and facilitates compulsory purchase.


The Role - Negotiating Duties


The lettings team invites a new member to contribute to achieving move-in targets, ensuring compliance of all tenancies and further enhancing the brand in the local marketplace.

This individual will adeptly handle legal documentation, provide exceptional customer service through telephone and face-to-face interactions, and play a crucial role in the negotiation process.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prequalifying applicants and arranging viewings.
  • Conducting viewings and gathering feedback.
  • Supporting the lettings team with administrative duties, including issuing terms of business to landlords and conducting necessary checks to comply with legislation.
  • Negotiating new tenancies with landlords and tenants.
  • Processing tenant references and righttorent checks.
  • Preparing tenancy agreements and issuing legal documents related to the tenancy, ensuring all safety certificates are in place before movein.
  • Collaborating with the property management team to ensure properties are prepared for movein.
  • Booking and arranging inventories.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Uptodate knowledge of current lettings legislation and landlord/tenant laws is desired but not essential.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail, especially when dealing with contracts.
  • Confidence in dealing with a variety of people, both in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team or independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Articulate, professional, and comfortable in a clientfacing role.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages and proficient keyboard skills.
  • ARLA qualified or willing to work towards an ARLA qualification.
  • Experience working in a fastpaced, busy environment.
  • Positive and adaptive attitude to contribute to the team's goals.
  • Proactive with a desire to achieve results.
  • Full driving license essential.
