What we're looking for


Finance and Invoicing Assistant to work as part of the group credit control function to support in the smooth running of the cash postings, payment allocations, debtor chasing and debtor query resolutions.


We are looking for somebody who is a motivated, task-orientated, self-starter who can bring their drive and energy to a forward-thinking team.

As an international organization, you will have good proficiency in the English language.

This role requires work authorization for the respective country.

The role

  • Daily cash postings and allocations of payments against debtor balances
  • Recording and processing customer queries and supporting the commercial team with query resolution
  • Managing a portion of the debtor ledger and appropriate escalations in line with our policies
  • Processing the month end billing procedures and processes
  • Updating our finance systems to reflect changes to master customer or vessel data
  • Supporting the wider credit control and finance teams with adhoc requests and reporting
  • Opportunity to support the business in continual process improvement and ways of working.

What you bring

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage a debtor ledger
  • A 'handson' approach to completing tasks and the ability to collaborate to work through difficult collection issues
  • Experience of Microsoft Office, including the ability to manipulate data in Excel
  • GSCE's in Maths and English
