An exciting opportunity to join a Opus People solutions and work for our great client - Cambridgeshire County Council for a period of 2 months and contribute to their new Project as as Service Desk Analyst to start ASAP.

You will be based in Huntingdon site therefore own transport is essential for this role due to location.

This role is office based 5 days per week, due to the nature if this project offering 37 hrs.

  • You will Manage the handover of a new Autopilot laptops to service users across the authority following agreed standards and processes,you will be booking slots with 5 member of staff every hour and support them with all instructions.
  • You will create accounts, diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Provide Desktop and 1st line support.
  • Ensure that all requests/issues and the associated details and actions are entered into the appropriate systems in an accurate and timely manner and that progress is pursued through to resolution.
  • Identify where there are any gaps in knowledge or processes within the system and report this to the Team Leader for attention.
  • Schedule and monitor own workload, to ensure that priorities are met and disruption to users is minimised.
  • Work as an effective team member assisting and supporting colleagues as appropriate to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.
