Volunteer Co-ordinatorDuties:
- Develop and implement strategies to recruit, train, and retain volunteers
- Coordinate volunteer assignments and schedules
- Provide leadership and guidance to volunteers
- Collaborate with others to identify volunteer needs
- Develop and maintain volunteer policies and procedures
- Conduct orientations and training sessions for new volunteers
- Monitor volunteer performance and provide feedback
- Plan and organize volunteer appreciation events
Skills:
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team of volunteers
- Administrative: Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Social media management: Experience in managing social media platforms for volunteer recruitment and engagement
- Marketing: Ability to market volunteer opportunities to attract a diverse pool of volunteers
- Education: Ability to educate volunteers on the organization's mission, values, and goals
- Project management: Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating volunteer programs or projects
- Supervising: Ability to supervise and delegate tasks to volunteers effectively
