- Annual Budget: Assist in preparing annual budgets for BAU and major capital expenditure projects.
- Project Budget: Develop detailed project budgets for Building and MEP installations.
- Gap Analysis: Review developing scope of works, design, and tender information, advising the Senior Cost Manager of any gaps or anomalies.
- Value Analysis: Review and challenge scope of works, design, and tender information to enhance Value for Money.
- Cost Planning: Develop detailed Cost Plans with cash-flow forecasts in conjunction with the Senior Cost Manager.
- Change Control: Advise on deviations from the Cost Plan and assist in preparing Change Control documentation.
- Cost Monitoring: Monitor project expenditure against the Cost Plan and report any issues.
- Procurement: Liaise with Procurement for tendering processes and assist in contractor and supplier selection.
- Risk Management: Provide cost advice related to risk management.
- Health & Safety: Recognize and report project and campus Health & Safety risks.
- Contract Administration: Assess financial impacts of Contract Instructions and assist in Section/Practical Completion negotiations.
- Claims, Payless, EOT: Assist in evaluating contractor claims, Payless Notices, and Extensions of Time.
- Insurance/Capital Allowances: Support activities related to insurance, claims, and Capital Allowances.
- Communication & Reporting: Attend Team and Project meetings, escalate issues as necessary.
- Accounts: Raise Purchase Request Forms (PRF's) and monitor approvals for Purchase Orders (PO), liaising with Procurement and Accounting teams.
