RG Consultancy are working with a well-established accountancy firm based in Heywood who are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

You will be joining an established firm and will be supported by the Partners and senior accounts staff.


Duties include:


  • End to end payroll (weekly, two weekly, four weekly and monthly)
  • Understanding SSP/SMP/SPP
  • Processing new starters and leavers
  • Dealing with all payroll queries
  • Calculating pension contributions (autoenrolment)
  • Production of reports for BACS payments

Essential experience:


  • Fast paced multipayrolls
  • Use of payroll software such as; SAGE, XERO and Quickbooks
  • Understanding of PAYE
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable working to deadlines

Desirable:

Practice experience would be an advantage but not essential


Benefits:

Salary:
Up to £28,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Heywood: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
