Production/Dispatch Administrator

Job Purpose:

The Production/Dispatch Administrator will assist with the daily administration duties within the production and dispatch departments.

This individual will collaborate closely with various internal teams, such as production, dispatch, sales and technical, to maintain high standards of internal and external customer service.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Create pickings lists, delivery note and manifests for the dispatch team.
  • Releasing job packs and production schedules to the shop floor.
  • Communicate order progress from planning to delivery to internal and external customers.
  • Creating daily reports on output, delivery performance and other KPI's.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to determine order priorities and ensure ontime delivery.
  • Assist with general PA duties of the Operations management team.
  • Develop and implement production and dispatch procedures and guidelines to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide effective communication and collaboration between production, dispatch, and other relevant departments to address any issues or challenges that may arise.
  • Regularly review and optimize production and dispatch processes to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies in all production and dispatch activities.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as either Production or Dispatch Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with teams and communicate with suppliers and customers.
  • Strong problemsolving skills with a proactive and solutionoriented mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality management systems.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy to maintain precise records and documentation.
  • Familiarity with inventory management principles.
  • High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office Suite.
