Production Coordinator


Are you an experienced technician or service advisor with excellent organisational skills? We are currently seeking a proactive and efficient individual to join our team as a Production Coordinator.

While prior technical knowledge is advantageous, it is not essential for this role.


Role Overview:


As a Production Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in planning and administering the repair of our customers' bikes to ensure timely completion within agreed timescales.

This multifaceted role requires strong coordination, communication, and organisational skills to effectively manage various aspects of the repair process.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Distribute repair jobs efficiently, considering factors such as labour availability, employee specialisms, parts availability, and planned completion dates.
  • Assist technicians, estimators, and the parts department in ordering replacement parts as needed.
  • Liaise with our Repair Management Team to ensure effective customer communication throughout the repair process.
  • Lead Work in Progress (WIP) meetings to align team contributions and focus efforts.
  • Complete regular reporting, correspondence, and auditing as required.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including TCF principles, the DPA, and HSE regulations.
  • Communicate sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Promote continuous development by identifying opportunities to improve processes, cycle times, and work quality.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as assigned by your Line Manager or other Seniors within the organisation.

Skills Required:


  • Minimum 3 years of coordination experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities.
  • Experience working in a team environment.

Education & Qualifications:


  • Educated to NVQ / A' Level experience or equivalent relevant experience.
