We are looking for an individual with a passion for supporting young people to be successful in their learning.


The Short Stay School for Norfolk is a single countywide institution which meets the needs of a diverse cohort of vulnerable young people from 9 physical locations.

Most of our young people have been permanently excluded from school and are preparing for an onward transition to a new school or specialist provision.


The Earthsea School are a specialist alternative provision that provides education for Primary pupils who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

We provide a supportive, nurturing environment in which to educate our pupils, ensuring that their individual needs are met.

Our vision is to show children what is possible, by providing a bespoke curriculum to engage and challenge so that they become happy, successful learners who will make a positive contribution and achieve their full potential at Earthsea and beyond.

  • Experience of and commitment to working in an educational setting.
  • An adaptive, consistent and kind approach to supporting pupils to achieve their best.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build positive and professional relationships with pupils, parents/carers and multi agencies
  • Positive behaviour management skills and are prepared to support pupils individually, in groups and whole class settings.
  • A level of resilience and an exemplary attendance record.
