    CNC Programmer, Setter, Operator - Night Shift - Full Time - Leeds, United Kingdom

    Are you a skilled machinist with experience in turning and milling? Do you thrive in a night shift environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Sulzer Pumps Parts Retrofits (PPR) in Leeds. As a Night Shift Multi-Axis CNC Machinist, you'll play a crucial role in our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

    Working Hours:
    Standard hours from 21:15 to 07:15, Monday to Thursday , with optional overtime (1.5x midweek and Saturdays, 2x on Sundays)

    Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines with precision and expertise.
  • Utilise your turning and milling experience to produce high-quality parts.
  • Familiarity with multiple control systems, specifically Fanuc and Heidenhain.
  • Interpret engineering drawings accurately.
  • Write and execute machine programs for CNC equipment directly on the machine.
  • Ensure the quality of machined parts meets specifications.
  • To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a multi-axis machinist.
  • Proficiency in turning, milling, and CNC programming.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc and Heidenhain systems.
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex engineering drawings.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team-based structure.
