- Supports the governance and monitoring of finance system compliance in accordance with company policies & standards as well as local statutory and SOX requirements.
- Applies knowledge and understanding of financial and accounting principles to our systems and business processes.
- Partners with various client groups and IT department to identify system enhancement requirements and process improvement opportunities.
- Works with EMEA Process Leads to determine technical feasibility, priority and impact.
- Facilitates requirements gathering sessions and assists in preparing Functional Specifications
- Performs enhancement testing and participates in major system release testing to ensure there is no impact to the integrity of the system's functionality or data.
- Create, track, resolve and close service requests to customer's satisfaction via our incident management tool.
- Keeps abreast of technology and solutions for key finance processes and business analytics.
- Prepares documentation of system and process best practices.
- Leads small-scale projects or relevant workstreams of a larger project.
- Interacts with IT, other departments and subject matter experts to support implementations and enhancements.
- Executes project activities to ensure project progress is on schedule.
- Effectively communicates with management, stakeholders, subject matter experts and project team members.
- Performs and/or facilitates System Integration and User Acceptance tests.
- Participates in training & development and provides end user training.
- Promotes teamwork both internally and externally.
- Contributes to the productivity and morale of the team.
- Positively confront issues and resolves conflict with sound judgment.
- Listens and asks questions to ensure understanding.
- Pulls and monitors metrics to obtain trends and patterns to identify process/system. opportunities and execute corrective action.
- Regularly interacts with end users clients on matters concerning their functional area, segments and department
- Concisely develops and delivers key information; ability to develop presentations, communications and training
- Tailors messages appropriately to the audiences
- Conveys relevant information in a timely and concise manner
- Deep Business System Analysis expertise
- Experience of participating in the full range of testing activities (including but not limited to: functional testing, user acceptance testing, integration testing)
- Participation in formal change management processes
- Business acumen, with deep expertise in the allocated domain(s) as well as strong skills in the technology that supports the domain(s), particularly ERP systems, primarily SAP
- Preferred experience implementing business processes in SAP or another ERP
- Proven strong negotiating and consensus building abilities.
- Preferred experience in statutory electronic invoicing projects, working with third parties to implement solutions
- Good excel skills for data analysis
- Preferred experience with automation technologies including RPA
- Exemplary communications skills
