The Dynamatic Technologies facility in Swindon, UK, has over 50 years of experience in the design and manufacture of Gear Pumps and supplies products to Agricultural, Construction and On-Highway vehicle manufacturers.

Products include Combined Variable and Fixed Displacement Pump Packages, Temperature Controlled Fan Drive Systems and Fixed Displacement Pumps in Aluminum and Cast iron with a range of additional integrated valve option.

Purpose of the role
The setting and operating of manufacturing equipment to maintain production targets and quality assured standards.

Specific Responsibilities

The correct setting and operating of machines and equipment, in order to meet daily production targets whilst maintaining quality standards.
Upon completion of first off set up, ensure the product is produced correct to drawing using gauging & measuring equipment to meet Quality Standards prior to production run.
Maintain machine & tooling during production run to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Highlight any maintenance repairs to the Assistant Production Manager to ensure optimum usage of machines & equipment.
Assist the Assistant Production Manager to ensure that all work progresses efficiently through the section/department.
Involvement in lean manufacturing i.e., 5 's' + 1 audits, TPM, general housekeeping and continuous improvement.
Cover setting/operating duties and additional training on any production areas as required.
Ensure the correct entry of WIP and production data as required.
