Are you looking for your next step in your sales career?Intercityare expanding our Inside Sales team and are seeking an Account Executive to join our growing Sales purpose of the role is to build long lasting relationships with our customers, understand their IT strategy and requirements and how we may be able to support them to achieve their goals through technology whilst growing our SME customer base.

    This role will be specifically targeted on new business growth and retention of existing revenue.

    This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop into a future Sales role and wants to broaden their current experience within a B2B are extremely passionate about supporting personal progression and development goals so if you want to super charge your Account Manager career in Technology, this could be for you.

    As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for:
    Proactive customer engagement - minimum of 1 call/interaction per month and account review is completedMeet and exceed all sales targets and KPIs set by line manager for new business and retentionBuilding of account development plans to understand the white space analysis in our customer base and where potential upsell opportunities areIdentify any retention risk and update save strategy planUncover opportunities and create win strategies within the allocated base of CustomersComplete utilisation of CRM for all customer engagement and updates, including forecasting and pipeline managementFollowing agreed sales methodology for all leads and opportunity managementOwn and develop Personal Development Plan that fits with the teams direction and focusWork closely with the sales support team to ensure that the customer receives an exemplary service on a daily basisAttend all mandatory training sessionsProvide accurate and consistent performance forecast to line managerDrive Customer Marketing Campaigns ensuring relevant content is nurtured to the customer baseKey Skills and Experience: At least 1- 2 years experience within a sales positionDemonstrable track record of hitting targets for at least a period of 6 monthsProven track record of consistently achieving new business targetsExcellent skills in MS Office (Word, Power point, Excel)

    Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesHave strong communication skillsExperience in using and completing CRM systemsExperience in IT, Telecoms, Managed services or Cloud solution sales is desirable but not essentialWhat we can offer you:
