    New Financial is an ambitious and growing capital markets think tank that launched in 2014. We make the positive case for the valuable role that capital markets can and should play in driving the economy through research and events, and we are currently hiring a database administrator to join our team to take ownership of the administrative side of customer data. This is an entry-level position that would be ideal for someone who wishes to gain valuable exposure to the field of data analytics. There is also potential for this role to evolve, with the right candidate having the opportunity to take charge of further responsibilities such as running analytics on the database and generating reports.

    Please note: Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK and be able to provide all necessary documentation. Visa sponsorship will not be provided.

    The role:


    • Update and maintain the New Financial CRM system ('Insightly'), accurately entering customer and account information from marketing distributions, event invitations and other forms of correspondence in a timely and efficient manner


    • Create lists of data with specific filters for marketing distributions, event invitations and business development, and update client information


    • Manage, monitor and respond to requests through the company inbox, as well as the events inbox on occasion

    Skills and qualifications:


    • Experience with working with a CRM platform within the financial services sector is not essential and full training will be provided. However, experience with CRM platforms and an interest in the financial services sector is ideal


    • Candidates must be motivated and capable of working independently, have a strong attention to detail, be accurate with data, and good written language and communication skills


    • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality


    • Excel skills to include functions for data cleaning and manipulation: e.g.: Filter & Sort, Find

    Salary and benefits: From £27,000-£30,000 depending on experience. New Financial offers benefits including holiday of 25 days a year + week of Christmas, pension contribution, flexible working arrangements, and private healthcare.

    Location: hybrid (3 days a week in office)/ London W1 (offices in Marylebone)
