    Description

Do you want a job with a purpose?

And do you want to make healthcare safer, better and more reliable?

    Join our Team

At Dedalus, our Clinical Implementation Specialists work as part of an experienced deployment team with the overall responsibility of helping clients to implement our market leading Healthcare Systems effectively and efficiently. Our team has a strong understanding of the NHS and HSE and has a track record of implementing complex systems whilst acting as a focal point for all key stakeholders.

As part of the team, you will work closely with a wide range of disciplines who help our clients follow a successful, mature deployment methodology within very tight timescales. Transformation and business change activities play an integral part to help the client to get the very best out of the solution. You will support the client in the setup and configuration of systems, supporting knowledge transfer and issue management and assisting the client in validation testing.

The role will give you the opportunity to be involved in multiple, complex deployments covering the entire project life cycle from pre-sales and early engagement through to go-live and post go-live activities in a variety of challenging environments. You will also play a key role in re-designing future clinical pathways and clinical content.

This is a mobile role which will require travel across the UK and Ireland, including hotel stays for periods of time, dependent on the assignment location and skills required. Other time will be spent working from home or at a Dedalus office.

    What to expect

As part of a broad and challenging role, the Clinical Implementation Specialist is front and centre in the delivery of systems into our clients. The key elements fall into a few main areas:

  • Engagement in all stages of deployment to ensure the client and the deployment teams are kept informed, fully trained, and equipped to implement our solutions.
  • Leading the successful delivery of software solutions, with particular emphasis on clinical engagement, analysis & consultancy in the following solution areas: Clinical workflow and documentation, Electronic Patient Records / Portals, ePrescribing and Medicines Administration, Orders & results, and Clinical departmental systems.
  • Providing Clinical Subject Matter Expertise to our clients and deployment project teams with product questions, issues and changes.
  • Pre-sales Consultancy/Bid Reponses
  • Software solution configuration, solution system manager / configuration training and user acceptance testing
  • What we look for

Healthcare professionals with knowledge of the NHS and/or HSE and Healthcare Services in such areas as Maternity, ICU, Community / District Nursing and Allied Health Professionals. As a key figure in client engagement, you will need to be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of how our healthcare systems work and be able to take a 'hands on' approach to the development of clinical pathways and content.

We are interested in talking to people who have played a key role in healthcare systems implementation/deployment projects, or who have a keen interest in moving into Digital programmes, and who can demonstrate an ability to work on multiple, complex tasks and projects through to conclusion. You will have a strong understanding and broad knowledge of how to interpret the needs of clients whilst maintaining high levels of effective communication both internally and externally.
