- Utilizing your actuarial technical expertise to independently project reserves for audit and due diligence assignments, employing appropriate data, standard actuarial methods, and assumptions.
- Calculating SCRs using the Standard Formula approach to ensure the technical accuracy of clients' results, providing essential assurance.
- Drafting comprehensive reports supporting actuarial work and assisting in client presentations.
- Acting as a peer reviewer for fellow team members, ensuring the quality and accuracy of deliverables.
- Leading or assisting in ad-hoc projects requiring actuarial expertise such as model validation.
- Contributing to the development of in-house team capabilities by sharing insights and knowledge.
- Participating in drafting proposals and delivering presentations alongside the audit team.
- Assisting in the training and mentorship of team members to foster growth and development.
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics
- Newly qualified or recently achieved Fellowship status from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (or equivalent qualification).
- Expertise in core area such as reserving or capital.
- Ability to independently perform SCR Standard Formula calculations
- 5 years+ experience general insurance within the London Market
- Experience in pricing, reserving or capital modeling software tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
