Ellgia is a privately owned, award winning, regional recycling company based in the East of England and Lincolnshire. We are committed to providing exemplary customer service and it is this that differentiates us from our competitors.

We have expanded rapidly and are ambitious for further growth and are building a team to help us deliver this.

Due to expansion, we have openings at our recycling facility in Ely for a number of yard operatives.

If you enjoy working as part of a team and have a passion for helping to improve our environment, this is the job for you.


As a company we prefer to select staff to be trained as plant operators, so the opportunity to develop your skills may also exist.


Duties include:

  • Waste segregation to aid in reduction of waste (turning waste into a resource)


  • Traffic management

  • Safety focused
  • Yard cleanliness be good neighbours
The work is from 07:00-17:00 Monday-Friday with the possibility of overtime and weekend work.


Salary:
£10.42 per hour
