- You will be responsible for day-to-day financial related activities and lead an established finance team, ensuring exceptional service to both clients and customers and other team members across the company.
- Prepare monthly management reports, including balance sheet, adhering to group reporting timelines and frameworks.
- Assist in forecasting and budget preparation.
- Generate management information such as wages, GP analysis, and expenditure reports.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain an accurate fixed asset register.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across various business functions.
- Monitor and review venue client accounts to ensure timely and accurate information delivery.
- Ensure weekly safe counts are completed and perform necessary follow-up checks.
- Collaborate with the Head Cashier to establish and maintain effective controls and procedures.
- Review monthly commission statements for venue clients.
- Continuously improve and develop processes, procedures, and key controls.
- Work alongside the Head of Finance on system reviews and implementations.
- Provide support for Year End Audits and preparation of required documentation.
- Undertake ad hoc project work and reporting as directed by the Head of Finance.
- Qualified ACA, CIMA, or ACCA with relevant post-qualification experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively and engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to thrive under pressure.
- Proactive approach to workload management and task prioritization.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in other IT systems.
