International Assistant Financial Controller ACA

Based full remotely/ working from home, our forward-thinking client is looking for a qualified accountant to join them as International Assistant Financial Controller on a permanent basis.

This job would suit an ACA qualified accountant ideally from a Top 4 background who is looking for their 1st or 2nd role out of practice and work for a business where you are able to develop your career quickly working with a global team.

The role is toaccurately account, manage, and reconcile general ledger balances for the Company's international entities (EMEA, APAC and Canada) to ensure US GAAP and statutory accounting compliance.

This company is a PE Backed highly successful innovative technology SAAS business with offices in Europe, USA and APAC and clients including some of the most recognisable brands across the world and industries including Retail, Automotive and Banking.

Withrecent acquisitions and more in the pipeline, the company has clear growth targets.

The successful individual will be a qualified ACA accountant with strong financial accounting experience.

Strong communication skills are essential as one of the key success in this job will be to raise your profile across the business internationally.

Job responsibilities:

Review recording of revenue, revenue reconciliation preparation and accrued liabilities
Perform P&L reviews

- balance sheet reconciliations

VAT/GST and compliance
FX revaluations
Bank reconciliations
Review account balance variances to support monthly reporting
Review and assist with account reconciliations in Blackline
Annual corporate year end and audit
Tax compliance
Statutory audits
Transfer pricing entries preparation to support tax returns
Liase with Global Revenue, AP and AR teams
Work on projects to automate accounting processes/ functions
Drive consistent accounting policies and practices globally

This will be an interesting role with varied work, a range of stakeholders and positive deliverables.
