What you'll do
The Disclosures Officer role is an important part of our Government Security Team


Key accountabilities include:

  • Act as a Single Point of Contact for all Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA's) and Government
  • Agencies for the provision of data held on VF fixed and mobile systems
  • Ensure compliance to the terms of
  • The Investigatory Powers Act relating to the retention and disclosure of information
  • The Data Protection Act and General Data Protection Regulations relating to the
- retention and disclosure of information including CCTV in support of Retail and the wider state and third-party information notices (3PIN)

  • Telecommunications Restriction Orders
  • Drug Dealing Telecommunications Restriction Orders
  • Court Orders relating to, but not exclusive to, communications data
  • Public Emergency Call Service (999 calls)


  • Cloud Act

  • Criminal (Overseas Production Orders)
  • Work within the Vodafone Group Discretionary Assistance policy
  • Ensure Vodafone meet obligations and SLA's laid down under the Investigatory Powers Act
  • Provide expert 24/7 assistance and advice to LEAs and appropriate VF departments
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with UK Police Forces

Who you are

  • Must either have SC Clearance or be eligible to be passed through SC Clearance in the future
  • An ability to absorb technical information and produce this in a manner that is clearly understood by those without the depth of knowledge or understanding of communications data
  • An ability to work under time constraints and pressure to produce data expediently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to build good relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Strong team player
  • An understanding of the Investigatory Powers Act is desirable
