    Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Project Director
    East Croydon, South London (with travel to sites and hybrid working)

    We now seek an M&E Project Director to join us on a permanent, full-time basis.

    As our M&E Project Director, you will oversee construction projects and offer mechanical and electronic technical advice. You'll also allocate staff to new projects and monitor performance.


    Monitoring M&E Managers' and Assistant M&E Managers' performance, you will lead the design coordination and information flow between the building services and building structure, and oversee final finishes on specific projects.


    You will produce a detailed commissioning programme and manage the commissioning process, coordinating utility installations in alignment with other building-services-related statutory authorities.

    Working collaboratively across all departments, you will lead, develop and implement good communication skills across the whole project team, embracing our team ethos.

    To be considered as a M&E Project Director, you will need to demonstrate:

    • Experience in completing projects of varying value, type and complexity
    • Extensive MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) technical knowledge
    • Appropriate health and safety, CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualifications, or the willingness to obtain
    • Other organisations may call this role Site Project Manager, Contract Manager, Building Site Manager, or Construction Project Manager.
