Description
An unusual opportunity with a leading Scottish firm has arisen in Glasgow for an experienced Compliance Advisor.
This specialist role will require you to support the implementation of the firm's compliance strategy and co-ordinate client requirements in line with AML processes and procedures.
Key remit:
- Carry out AML and Client Due Diligence checks on new clients and instructions.
- Analyse factors such as PEP involvement, state ownership and complex structures.
- You will provide advice on due diligence, CDD requirements and work with Partners and inform on best practice.
- Prepare and review risk assessments of clients.
- Produce regular reports and statistics for Partners and Managers
- Support the Compliance Manager with other compliance related work as required.
Experience required:
- Knowledge of Financial Services compliance and data protection
- Experience of Anti-Bribery and Corruption compliance
- Operational experience of AML Compliance
- Demonstrate strong analytical, technical and problem solving skills.
