Join us on our journey to empower over a million people to change their behaviours and thrive

At Thrive Tribe we deliver award-winning healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that make people happier and healthier We are looking for a fixed term
Mental Health Weight Management Specialist to spearhead an exciting and innovative mental health partnership project, working with Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust
. Thrive Tribe is an award winning Healthy Lifestyle Service Provider which has been supporting people across the country, since 2008, with Smoking Cessation, Weight Management, Alcohol Reduction, Physical Activity and Health Coaching, Workplace Wellbeing and Health Checks.

The aim of our new partnership project is to ensure that weight management services are easily accessible to residents living with serious mental health issues, who can often be under-represented in health provision.

This project is therefore focused on linking Thrive Tribe with patients receiving support from CNWL.

You will work to ensure the joint venture is a success and liaise with teams at CNWL, Primary Care and with other partners to target eligible and motivated individuals for the programme.

In addition, you will deliver high quality, bespoke evidence based, one to one and small group tier 2 adult weight management support, to clients with serious mental health issues.

Like all roles at Thrive Tribe, you can expect your time at work to be fun, varied and challenging.

We don't like to stick to a firm JD as we know from experience that things change throughout the lifetime of a role and it gives our people the chance to play to their strengths.

A typical day as an Mental Health Weight Management Specialist might include:

  • Providing 1to1 and small group delivery to eligible patients with a flexible and bespoke tier 2 adult weight management programme, empowering people to lose weight and live happier, healthier lives.
  • Collaborating effectively with key stakeholders and teams at CNWL and across the local system.
  • Working alongside the Thrive Tribe Quality and Training Team to ensure a highquality service is delivered at all times, in accordance with NHS Best Practice and NICE guidelines.
  • Signposting patients to the wider wellbeing and health services and other community organisations.
  • Recording and reporting activity on databases and ensure targets are met. This includes ongoing analysis of client data to ensure the best outcomes are achieved and producing summary reports for commissioners.
  • Contribute to the growth of Thrive Tribe by working with colleagues across the organisation on service developments, new projects and team building events.
  • Help maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values
