Smile Education are thrilled to be working alongside a dynamic and busy primary school located in north Manchester. We are currently seeking a Year 1 TA to join the team from May 2024.We are currently seeking a Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join this welcoming team from May 2024 until the end of the academic year, with potential to extend further into September for the right person.
The successful applicant will be supporting pupils in Year 1, primarily focussing on developing pupil's phonics skills. You will be working with small groups, both inside and outside of the classroom. In addition to providing 1:1 support to pupils where required.This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced Teaching Assistants and those just starting their career within school. The school is located in North Manchester, within proximity to Great Lever and Burnden. The expected salary for this role is between £80-100 per day, depending on experience level.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to have prior experience working with children. This can come from an academic setting such as within a school or tutoring setting. Applicants with experience working with children outside of education are also encouraged to apply. For example, anyone who has experience of working within dance teaching, performing arts or sports coaching.
