Are you a looking for a new challenge? Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a client based in Hartlepool with the appointment of a Material Planner.

This role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to take ownership of the material plans and really make the position your own.

We are looking for somebody who will monitor stock levels, work at a first in/first out process and raise orders for materials. This role will provide training and development, where you will work alongside a close-knit Supply Chain team.

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for material data and BOM creation within MRP.
• Ensure all customer materials queries and issues are answered in a timely manner.
• Determine requirements and co-ordinate the procurement of materials.
• Keep inventory levels at a minimum without disrupting production schedule requirements.

• Analytical with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Enjoy using own initiative, working unsupervised and taking responsibility for own work.
• SAP/MRP experience desirable
