Fixed Term Contract - Up To 12 Months; Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week.

The Opportunity:


This Research Associate position will contribute to the Framatome Ultrasound project within the Institute for Integrated Micro and Nano Systems (IMNS ) at the University of Edinburgh, which is funded by Framatome Inc.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • A good undergraduate degree and a PhD in electronics or a related area.
  • Experience in delivering research project results; i.e. a record of peerreviewed journal and conference papers in a relevant area.
  • Capable of working independently, exercising a high degree of initiative and demonstrating a proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • Experience in handling and designing sensors (PCB, firmware, CMOS circuits etc.)
