    Field Service Technician - Southern England based

    About the Role

    Working closely with the service manager the service engineer is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by installing, repairing, inspecting and commissioning servicing, considering economical and other aspects.

    We are looking for an experienced and motivated Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, inspecting and commissioning products and equipment of different kinds at customer sites or our own premises.

    The Service Technician will:


    • Install, repair, inspect and commission products and equipment of different kind at customer site or own premises.


    • Report and document results after above actions.


    • Responsible for plan, conduct and maintain tools and equipment for service work.


    • Support the customer's product/equipment/processes by suggesting possible improvements


    • Provide technical support to the sales team.


    • Provide problem solving to customer.


    • Ability to produce positive results in sales-client interventions.


    • Guide colleagues in service methods and tools.


    • Share own knowledge to enable colleagues to expand their knowledge.

    You will be required to report and document the results of your work and maintain tools and equipment for service work.

    You must have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to provide technical support to the sales team. You must be able to produce positive results in sales-client interventions and guide colleagues in service methods and tools.

    You should also be able to suggest possible improvements to the customer's product, equipment and processes.

    We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is able to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role and be willing to travel to customer sites.

    You will problem solve by using approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, operational & process problems. The successful applicant will have the ability to apply this knowledge appropriately in different kinds of situations. You will have Knowledge of the tasks, tools and procedures associated with providing technical support to the sales team and prospective customers.

    This position is flexible to location, to be based in Southern England based (Eligibility to Work in the UK required). Travel to sites will be required for this position.

    Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience in a business similar role ideally within the construction or mining industry.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages
  • Experienced performer with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Relevant Technical qualifications or experience
  • Fluency in English
